My Fantastic Field Trip to the Planets

Field Trip to Outer Space

Every stone I turn is a chance to learn that the world is a wondrous place. From the tallest tree to the deepest sea, from earth to outer space, this is gonna be great! Let's go!

The Planetarium

Unfortunately, Jake's field trip to the planetarium was canceled, but his mom promises to take him there another time.

Blast Off to the Stars

Jake imagines himself on a rocket ship, floating like an astronaut and exploring the stars and the sun.

Mother Earth

Jake's mom reminds him that she will always be there for him, providing him with everything he needs, like water, oxygen, and sunlight.

Meeting the Planets

Jake encounters Venus and Mercury, the first two planets from the sun. They have a playful conversation about their positions.

Venus and Mercury

Venus feels a bit sad being in second place, but Mercury reassures her that being second is not so bad.

Mars, the Red Planet

Jake meets Mars, the famous red planet with two moons. Mars shows off his special ability to blow with his red sand.

Now, let's continue our journey among the stars!

Sing Mars

Sing Mars, Mars, see it glowing red among the stars. Come on, sing Mars, Mars, that's me! Everybody jump and shout for Mars, Mars.

Rocketship Drama

Loud exploding rocketship, autopilot disengaged. Ow! That's gonna leave a mark. I can't do this! You're almost through! Yes! How did you learn to fly like that? Xbox! Bye, thanks! You're welcome! What's an Xbox?

Jupiter Encounter

Jupiter: Halt! Who goes there? I'm Jake, from planet Earth. Earth? That little speck of a planet. It's not that small. Silence! I could gobble up Earth and it wouldn't even be a snack. It wouldn't even be a crumb! You must be Jupiter. No, I'm Jupiter! That's what I said. But you gotta say it big, it's all in the delivery. Jupiter!

Ring Troubles

Saturn: Do you always have to throw that in my face? Excuse me! Jupiter: Do you always have to throw that in my face? Both planets: Excuse me! What's up with that ring you're wearing around your belly? Is it made of applesauce or peanut butter and jelly?

Eye Mystery

What's up with your eye that's always staring at me? Is it made of pickle juice or grandma's rotten broccoli? No, you're not even warm. This eye you see in the middle of me is a great big swirling storm.

Uranus and Neptune

Out here in the deepest night, Uranus I am called. I never get much heat or light, it isn't fun at all. But I've got two pals 'til the end, Neptune is my name. Pluto is our little friend, and we want to proclaim. We're the three last planets out here on the edge, we're the farthest from the sun, farther than anyone. We're the three brave planets out on the frontier, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto, we promise we'll be right here.

Cooling Down

I got it! I'm hot and you're cold! You can cool me down. The sweat would stop. It doesn't seem right. I can't keep getting hot like this. Kid, what I'd give to have your problem. I need to cool down to live. Are you pulling my ring? No. Boys, that was really cool. Actually freezing cold. Next time you get out this way, bring us something hot. Hot soup! Hot apple pie. Hot chocolate. I think I can manage that. You know, I'm looking for the Earth's moon but none of the other planets have been able to help.
